With over 13 years as a respected fitness educator and instructor and an extensive background in musical theatre, Annika delivers a fresh and unique approach to Pilates, yoga, and general fitness to audiences worldwide using an inspiring teaching style. Some of her credits include: creator of Dynamic Power, Pilates for Wimps, and Yoga for Wimps workout videos, media representative for major health club chains in both New York and Los Angeles, numerous educational videos for group fitness instructors, creator of Pilates education manuals and workshops for clubs in the US and Japan, development team member for the NYC Ballet Workout, and contributing author for Natural Journeys and Fit-to-be-Tied web magazines. Annika develops education and consults for several fitness companies, including Total Gym, 24 Hour Fitness Group Exercise, and Powder Blue Productions. She is also a program designer and course director for Body Dynamics and FTP Japan. In this capacity, she expresses her creativity in the design and development of new products and programs for instructors and consumers. Bringing nurturing balance into people’s lives while improving their health and self-esteem, she trains a wide variety of clients - from athletes to moms to executives to mature adults - in Pilates, Yoga, and general fitness.
